Incoming Chelsea boss already eyes double PL deal

Brtish media still claims that Chelsea lines up a huge move for Everton duo John Stones and Romelu Lukaku, according to the reports.
Chelsea have been strongly linked with talented centre-back Stones since the last term, during which the club had four offers reaching £37 million rejected by The Toffees. Then-manager Jose Mourinho was believed to be a keen admirer of the Centre-back, believing Stones to be the perfect long-term successor for departing captain John Terry.
Meanwhile, Belgian star Lukaku was earlier part of The Blues setup from 2011, although made just ten league games for the club. After a second term on-loan, the 22-year-old was deemed surplus to requirements at Chelsea and purchased by Everton for £28 million.
Despite this, tBelgian Powerhouse has excelled at Goodison Park, netting 25 goals in all tournaments this campaign.
The Blues Newly appointed manager Antonio Conte will be spending huge during the upcoming window, and rumours continue to circulate regarding potential approaches for Englishman and Lukaku. As with Mourinho, the Italian coach highly rates the 21-year-old star, despite a very inconsistent term, and would believe that an offer of £40 million would entice Everton to sell.
Belgian superstar would be harder to persuade, with the Belgium international wanting to upgrade to Champions League football, something that Conte cannot yet implement.

Jose Mourinho claimed Kevin De Bruyne was poor in training but he was the best on the pitch… he only wants to work with fully developed stars

Chelsea scout Piet de Visser has admitted he was angry when Jose Mourinho allowed Kevin de Bruyne to leave the club.

The Belgian midfielder only played nine times for the Blues before he was sold to Wolfsburg in January 2014.
But De Bruyne was a revelation in the Bundesliga and has arguably been Manchester City's best player since arriving at the Etihad Stadium for £55million in the summer.

Jose Mourinho did not believe De Bruyne was ready to play for Chelsea in 2014, according to Piet de Visser
The 24-year-old's success has led many to question Mourinho's decision to let him leave Stamford Bridge, but De Visser said the Portuguese boss told him De Bruyne didn't want to play under him.
'I was angry with Mourinho when De Bruyne left Chelsea,' De Visser told HLN Sport. 'We had some discussions. Then he would say: "Piet, I find it a shame too, but the boy wants to leave. He doesn't want to train under me anymore."
'I told him: "Yes, the boy wants to play. He's ready for it." I have tried to convince him of Kevin's qualities. But then Mourinho repeated: "Piet, he doesn't want to train."

De Bruyne was brought to Chelsea from Genk by Andre Villas Boas in January 2012, but was sent on loan to Werder Bremen the following season by Roberto Di Matteo.
The Belgian scored 10 Bundesliga goals in the 2012-13 season, but when he returned to Chelsea Jose Mourinho was in charge and the young midfielder was competing with the likes of Frank Lampard, Oscar and Eden Hazard for his place in the team.

Nevertheless De Visser, who helped bring Brazilian greats Romario and Ronaldo to Europe, believed he was good enough to play - but he says the manager disagreed.
'I went to see a training session,' De Visser said. 'Kevin was the best player on the pitch. Look, Mourinho is a performance focused manager who has achieved a lot in his career. He wants to work with fully developed players.
'He thought Kevin needed one, maybe two years. But Kevin was ready. And Kevin was convinced he was ready too.'

Cristiano Ronaldo in race to be fit for Real Madrid's Champions League tie v Man City

Cristiano Ronaldo will miss Real Madrid's game against Rayo Vallecano this weekend to give him time to recover from a hamstring injury
Cristiano Ronaldo has suffered a thigh muscle injury, but Real Madrid have given no indication if he will be fit for their Champions League tie away to Manchester City.
The 31-year-old came off the pitch moments before the final whistle duringMadrid's 3-0 La Liga victory at home to Villarreal on Wednesday night after falling awkwardly.
Madrid, who are one point behind both Barcelona and Atletico Madrid in La Liga with four games to play, face a trip to Rayo Vallecano on Saturday before Tuesday's Champions League semi-final first-leg clash at the Etihad Stadium.
Real coach Zinedine Zidane confirmed Ronaldo will miss his side's visit to Rayo to ensure he will be fit for the clash at City.
"He won't play against Rayo. He'll stay at home and we'll see for the next game," said Zidane.
"He wanted to play tomorrow, but he knows that it isn't possible. We've had to put the brakes on him and he knows his mind has to be on City."
Previously, Ronaldo had played every minute of every league game this season for Los Blancos, but there were fears he could miss some of the title run-in.
However, a statement from Madrid read: "Following tests carried out today on Cristiano Ronaldo in the Sanitas La Moraleja University Hospital, he has been diagnosed with a muscle strain in his right thigh.
"His recovery will continue to be assessed."
The former Manchester United player has scored 47 goals in 44 games for his club this season.

The best artistes in Nigeria have these 6 qualities

Here are six qualities that all successful Nigerian musicians possess.
The music industry has always been competitive and ruthless in Nigeria, and these days, income is becoming harder and harder to find.
Making a little money playing music on the side isn’t so hard, but in order to turn a passion into a career, you have to want it more than anything else. Though there is a ton of luck involved, many factors can be influenced to put you in a position to launch a musical career. However, it’s important not to have unrealistic standards about how things will be once you're able to quit your “day job.” Here are six qualities that successful musicians possess.
1. They have no other choice
Many professional musicians got where they are today due to the fact that they struggled to get other work, or just weren’t capable of doing anything else. When you have no Plan B to fall back on, Plan A will have to be what works out for you. Successful musicians are confident and adventurous enough to dive into their music careers headfirst.
2. They're willing to work hard and educate themselves
A professional musician must fill many hats these days. A musician ought to split the roles of manager, promoter and booking agent, filing these roles because they have to understand the business and work hard at it. There are also many Nigerian artistess who take on all of these roles or more by themselves. Thus, it’s important to be able to educate yourself on the many different aspects of professional music-making, and to enjoy this process. Of course, the payoff is that there is one less person to pay, and he is thus able to make a sustainable income. If you think that going into music will be an escape from doing “real” work, think again.

3. They don’t mind living modestly
Depending on the path you take in this music industry, it’s possible that you may never have a stable income in Nigeria. Even if it is stable, it might take years or even decades before it's large enough for you to have certain luxuries. This doesn’t have to be a source of fear or anxiety as long as you know how to live within your means. Try to create some kind of stable cash flow in order to cover certain expenses such as fuel, food or outfits. Teaching lessons or seminars is a great way to do this, if you feel comfortable educating others. That way, you can take a few things off your mind while doing your budgeting and focus more on making rent. In the end, it comes down to the question of living an easy life versus a fulfilling life. It's okay to dream big, but if the only reason you want to be a musician is because you think it'll get you a large house with a yacht, you'll quickly get kicked out of this business.

4. They have a patient, persistent attitude
This might be the most important out of the entire list. A career does not appear overnight, and especially not one in the arts. Even artists such Patoranking, who seemed to appear in an instant and blow up the charts out of nowhere, had been planning and preparing for that time for years.

Of course, very few people have the good fortune to be signed early. Whatever your musical craft may be, as long as you are making steps to improve every day, you will eventually be one of the best out there. However, it could take years before you're capable of competing against other professional musicians. If you seek out new opportunities persistently, it’s completely possible to find the gig or show that sets you up into a more stable position, especially once more and more of your competition gives up and looks for other work.  Instead of becoming preoccupied with trying to get a "big break," the most successful musicians nowadays focus on growing their careers gradually.
5. They're willing to (and enjoy) working on their craft every day
No matter which aspect of music or the arts you're passionate about, it’s essential to practice your craft every day. By doing this, you will continue to improve while others stagnate, eventually being better than most others at what you do. In order to not only compete, but succeed in this hyper-competitive musical world, it’s absolutely vital to be on top of your game at all times, and be consistently raising the bar for yourself. And in order to make the most out of it, you have learn to really enjoy the process of improving and practicing as well. If you don’t want to put in time to practice, you might be better suited as a hobbyist.
6. They're creative at generating income
One of the best things you can do when trying to stay afloat with your music is to find multiple streams of income. A great way to do this is by licensing out your music to be used in television shows, ads and movies. Even beyond that, taking on the management of a more established artist in your area or teaching private lessons/workshops can provide a “day job” alternative that will still grow you as an artist and a person, while also providing you with some really great networking opportunities.

Depending on your location or time of year, it may be very difficult to keep multiple income streams flowing your way. That’s where the creativity comes in. If there aren’t any opportunities to showcase your talent, you have to create the opportunities yourself. Activities such as studio sessions, if done consistently and in a good location, can generate a good amount of money over time. Another alternative would be to try and find a restaurant that you think would sound great with live music, and go to them with the offer to perform weekly, bi-weekly or even monthly. It all adds up in the end, and sooner or later, a little bit of cash here and there can evolve into something spontaneous and beautiful. Successful musicians don't wait for opportunities to come to them – they seek them out or create them themselves.

Real Madrid confirm Cristiano Ronaldo's thigh muscle injury

Cristiano Ronaldo could be a doubt for the Champions League clash against Manchester City

There is some bad news for Real Madrid fans as the club confirmed that star forward Cristiano Ronaldo has suffered a thigh muscle strain. However, they did not specify whether the Portuguese superstar will miss Tuesday’s Champions League clash against Manchester City.
Ronaldo picked up the problem late in Wednesday's 3-0 La Liga win at home to Villarreal when he hurt the muscle attempting an acrobatic bicycle kick and immediately left the pitch even though Madrid had already used all three substitutes.
Although Ronaldo himself took to social media to allay fears of Real Madrid supporters, scans have found a thigh strain which means Ronaldo is almost certain to miss Saturday’s La Liga match against Rayo Vallecano and it could also mean him missing Tuesday’s big Champions League match.
"Following tests carried out today on Cristiano Ronaldo, he has been diagnosed with a muscle strain in his right thigh. His recovery will continue to be assessed."
Ronaldo has started every La Liga and Champions League so far, and the strain of playing every game in every competition seems to have caught up with the 31-year-old.
Gareth Bale is expected to recover completely and Real Madrid’s only other injury scare seems to be a knock on the ankle to right-back Daniel Carvajal.

Zidane not taking Manchester City lightly

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane expects a tough Champions League semi-final football clash with Manchester City.
Manchester City was considered to be the most accessible of the three possible rivals Madrid could face with the other semi pairing of Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich. Zidane's side have been favoured for having the second leg at their home ground, the Santiago Bernabeu stadium, reports Xinhua.
It is the sixth consecutive time that Madrid have had the return leg at home, but Zidane didn't want to speak about the luck of the draw.
"It is a semi-final and it will be a very very difficult game. The only positive thing about it is that we have the return in the Bernabeu," he said, brushing aside words from Manchester City sporting director, Txiki Beguristein that Madrid were favourites to reach the final.
"Everyone will say we are favourites, but we know how hard City are and we will prepare our best to face them," he said.
The possible absence of Cristiano Ronaldo might prove to be a huge blow for Zidane’s Real Madrid.

12-year-old Nigerian Rapper Challenges Olamide To A Contest

Some people discover their talents at a very unfortunate period of their lives; when they are in hardship. But the same cannot be said of Oluwatobi Akanbi, a 12-year-old rapper who boasts the courage of an adult.
NAIJ.com’s correspondent were in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital for the ongoing National Drums Festival, when this young chap was made to perform on stage.
With the traditional Adire outfit on a pair of jeans trousers, the youngster whose stage name is T-rapper, not just dazzled the teeming audience, but was also spontaneous in some of his remarks.
After the performance, our correspondent caught up with him and had a brief interview with him. He was also asked to do a freestyle on the spot.
Master Akanbi, who said that he has been rapping since he was six, also called out popular award-winning Nigerian artist, Olamide
aka Badoo, stating that he could match the finesse of the ‘street’ rapper, although his ultimate goal remains having a collabo with the Eyan Mayweather crooner.

Amazing Alexis dispels Arsenal discontent but title challenge regrets remain

The Chilean attacker was at his best to help the Gunners' forget their poor run of recent results and get back on track for a top four finish
If there’s one thing we’ve learnt about football through the years it’s that things change extremely quickly, none more so in north London where an aura of pre-match frustration among the fanbase turned to celebration in the matter of minutes.

They’ve got Alexis Sanchez to thank for this one. The Chilean attacking maestro has come back into form in his last eight games, scoring 5 goals and assisting 3, drawing praise from manager Arsene Wenger before the game who went on to say that the former Barcelona man is “keen to stay” at the club along with his fellow talismanic team-mate Mesut Ozil.

Alexis joined Arsenal from a club whose slogan is “more than a club” and there’s no doubt that the Chilean attacking maestro is more than a footballer.

He’s a workhorse, a technician, a magician, an absolute joy to watch – and his infectious work ethic hasn’t gone unnoticed by his team-mates either who have nicknamed him “Duracell”.

His first goal against West Brom was stunning. Thirty-five yards out, Sanchez turned away from his marker and struck an accurate low shot past Ben Foster. It brought the game to life and provided a sign of things to come although the 27-year-old was lucky to escape punishment for appearing to handle the ball inside his own penalty area.

The years of Thierry Henry and Robert Pires taking Arsenal's free kicks have long gone but when Sanchez stepped up on 38 minutes there was a feeling among everyone in the stadium that he was about to produce something special – and he duly obliged.

Sanchez took his time to assess the wall before curling the ball over it - firstly past Olivier Giroud who ducked out the way, then crisply into the back of the net as Foster looked on in despair.

Before the game all the talk surrounding Arsenal focused on Wenger’s future, an empty Emirates and discontent among the fanbase. By full-time there was still a sense that those critics had not been silenced, and rightly so. Arsenal, who claimed their 500th Premier League win, never really got out of second gear in this game because they didn’t need to, but they should have mounted a better title challenge than this.

There was no hat-trick for Sanchez in the end but Arsenal’s battery-powered Chilean did inject some energy into the Gunners as they now look to consolidate a Champions League qualification spot. Sunderland are up next for Wenger's men as their quest for European football continues. Oh how it could have been so different.

I Used To Sing At Hair Shops And Nail Salons – Banky W

At the just concluded 4th Nigerian Entertainment Conference, Banky W revealed that in order to make some money off his craft in his early years as a musician, he often sang for women at beauty parlours/salons.
“10 – 15 years ago, I would print posters of my songs and paste it on the car and drive around to salons, where women are and sing to them and then sell the CDs for $5”, Banky W said at the event which held at the Landmark event centre on Wednesday, April 20.
Furthermore, the Empire Mates Entertainment (EME) boss, quipped: “I used to sing at hair shops and nail salons.”
Banky W, who spoke on ‘Content Marketing: The Power of Music, Comedy & More’, said artistes need to realise that talent is not enough as they have to apply hard-work to their craft and art.
He used NBA star, Kevin Durant’s popular quote ‘Hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard’ to drive home his point.read more

Top 7 Nigerian Artistes Who Are Kings Of Vulgar And Profane Lyrics

The use of profane and vulgar words in Nigerian music, has alarmingly invresed since the unveiling of some few notable artistes today.
80 percent of most artistes in Nigeria, can hardly do a song without using vulgar or profane words, infact, some of them have become champions in this new ‘Genre’ of music, even stylishily handing the batton over to their protege. This got me thinking, what if an artiste was rated based on the profanity and vulgarism of their music, how many artistes in Nigeria today will win the dirtiest/worst music artiste?
, like Lil Wayne, is known for his passionate use of vulgar and profane lyrical words.  From the moment the YBNL king launched into limelight, his use of vulgar words have increasingly become ribald and filthier. Come in ‘Stupid Love’ from his plain description of a girl’s behind and bosom, he creatively describes how he intends to sleep with the said girl who according him is one of many other females he intends to bed as he said ‘Se o lon gbe eni wa ni” (Meaning were you intending to stay long here). This talented artiste, seems to derive so much joy in his profanity using metaphor and simile’s to describe a                   girl’s  private how he intends to have his share of whatever she might have on her body and what not. If this                was the only song of this YBNL boss, filled with gut wrenching vulgar words, it would simply mean one can die            happily but no,
, intent on showing the world how much hits he can make by using profane and vulgar            lyrics in virtually all his songs. (Durosoke, Don’t Stop, Bobo, First of all, amongst other.) No words anymore                   Baddo Sneh!!
    Lil Kesh

Lil Kesh: Like his boss, this multi talented artistes, wadded into our subconsciousness and even consciousness           with his own clearly yet childish version of profanity and vulgarism. First came Shoki. Am certain even the                 dandiest of minds can easily with little or no explanation get the meaning of shoki. The title alone says it all. ‘Oya         shoki the shoki, ba mi wa omoge to ba yodi….I meannnnnnnnnn.
Lil Kesh, did not stop there, instead employed the vocals and lyrics of HKN boss himself, Davido, to do a remixed         version of the already vulgar song and again nailed it becoming his white horse into the Nigerian music scene. I           listened to Shoki remix and could only imagine Bart of The Simpson’s, highly mischievous, rebellious and                     potentially dangerous….again when a kid has all these traits, there is only one reason, he wants attention.
Then came ‘Gbese, Efejoku, Skibi dat with Viktoh (Another YBNL act), even his new album Y.A.G.I is not left out        from profane and vulgar lyrics.
 3. Iyanya
.  Iyanya: Known for his love of striping (Which should tip anyone of obviously) this heavily built music star came           out with Kukere…need I say ,more now pepoooo. ‘All my ladies, kukere…. coupled with your suggestive dance               steps…we get it bruv.
Iyanya, starts off with being blessed by God and now its time to enjoy all the money made on women who are               ready for the kukere. He has the money to throw out there, so definitely the party will be hot. With visuals of                 ladies whinning and rubbing his chest in the soft porn music video…what more can one say.
‘Your waist’ surfaced and boom it became official, Iyanya, has joined the list of artistes known for their sexual               explicit materials. Not stopping there, he dropped ‘Oreo’ and……ask me for more words on him sometime next             five years please
Cynthia Morgan: I remember the first time I saw Cynthia Morgan in a music video, she was featured on Jaybo’s           song and she looked so cute and innocent….fast forward to some years later, We have songs like ‘German                       Juice, celebrating or insulting women with big behinds asking them to come forward to an obvious party                       thrown by  maybe a big spender, (I want to believe is a man). ‘The girl with the German juice….the girl with the           biggest  behind….’
I have a feeling when she eventually resigns from music, she might just make the perfect pimp (Just saying).                  ‘come and do’ the title alone says it all..no words!!
D’banj: Can this list be complete without the ‘Kokomaster’ himself….I kid myself not. That word koko is enough             explaining pepo!!!!
‘I take her to Lagos, I show her the koko, she show me the robo, we started the loving” really if we continue on               D’banj. Bangalee, will definitely take up more than five paragraph to get half way into the use of profane and                 vulgar lyrics and moves in 90 percent of his songs.
Listen to Feeling the Nigga, Oliver Twist, amongst others.

6.    Seyi Shay: ‘I will ride for you, slow whine for you, I will touch my tippie toe, I will bounce it for you? Need more           explanation pepo!! It breaks my heart that Seyi Shay makes this list but ‘Touch me now now now…..do you                   remember the reign..I wanna feel it right now now now” So good like everyone had to include..’Lord of mercy.’             Mama could you be more explicit…Which love dey enter na miss Shay????
‘She say she wan murda, she say she wan do that thing….then comes the epic upside down twerking…oh                          wow!!!!!!! Patoranking, made sex so vivid in this song with his lyrics I could not help but scream…Bruv what you        doing…’keep her coming? Do you really have to do the moisture talk on here? Seyi Shay…dirty dirty dirty girl,              miss thing!
7. Wizkid
. Wizkid: Can  Wizkid allow us one song without so much as a vivid picture of a heaving woman’s behind, bosom           and sometimes her vee jay jay?  Should he ever consider this, then maybe we can all sleep without so much as a            nightmare of scooby doo running away from casper the friendly ghost.
In my bed starts with the usual girl meets boy, girl grows on boy and boy can’t help but have her in his life and             boom, he switched to always wanting to devour her body in his bed, so on an so forth.
Bombay…Wizkid again goes with the profane and vulgar lyrics…your bombay make me troway….y’all know the            rest. Listen to In love featuring fellow profane and vulgar list mate, Seyi Shay…..guys could you be more vivid? ‘am      trying to drink you all up (Seyi shay) Am feeling your low waist…’nuf said.
Having listed these artistes, who amongst them wins the dirtiest Lyrical god, tell us in the comment box…oh and do     let us know some others we might have missed
